Panic Disorder Help

If you suffer from panic attacks you are not alone.

  • Approximately 6 million American adults 18 and older, or 2.7 percent of people in this age group in a given year, have panic disorder.
  • Panic disorder typically develops in early adulthood (median age of onset is 24), but the age of onset extends throughout adulthood.
  • About one in three people with panic disorder develops agoraphobia.

My first panic attack was age 11. Throughout life I have struggled with panic attacks, at times it turned into agoraphobia. It took a lot of hard work to get where I am today. (Only a handful of panic attacks in the past 5 years) I travel alone, drive anywhere and go into crowds. All things I wouldn't have been able to do 10 years ago.

Guess what? Working together I can help you to conquer panic attacks or agoraphobia too!  All you need is to get out of your comfort zone, and an understanding advocate and motivator to help you do so.

Unfortunately many therapists require clients to travel to their office. But if you don't drive or are housebound what do you do? Consider a life coach.

Life coaching can really help those, who suffer from these disorders. The key to getting better is to set goals no matter how small they are, and move forward each and every day. That's not to say there will be set backs now and then. But working with a life coach these setbacks can often be minimized.

You need a coach who understands what a big feat it is to drive across town, or get on an airplane. You also should have the ability to contact your coach several times a week, even daily if need be. Many therapists can't or won't have these types of check-ins. That's one important difference between a therapist and a life coach who specializes in agoraphobia and panic attacks.

Because I understand how difficult and debilitating this disorder is first hand, I offer those suffering with panic and/or agoraphobia the ability to work with me on a sliding scale. Often those who have this disorder can't work, or have lesser paying jobs because they are unable to travel very far from home. This in turn limits their careers as well as their incomes, and doesn't allow them the chance to get better. I'm taking away that obstacle for you.

Please take a look at my profile. If you believe I may be someone that can help give me a call. We can chat for 20-30 minutes free of charge. Then if we believe we are a match, you can start your journey to freedom almost immediately. Start living your life again!
